Welcome to Rico Group Fitness

Rico (re'-co)  adj. 1. tasteful, stylish

We are a couple of professional fitness enthusiasts who love inspiring the training habit though exercise to music. What we teach is how we train, and we love to share this with groups of people. Our systems are based around the following movement styles: Shadowboxing, Weightlifting, Mini Trampoline, Punch bag Kickboxing, Athletic/Dynamic movement and Dance.

Everytime we train we believe in inspiring our participants through doing. When you train with us, you literally train with us! This is our training too, so use our passion and expertise to your advantage. The classes offer well rounded skills which stimulate complete general physiological movement patterns, apply to many styles of movement/sports and are great for everyday muscles too. 

Because we are professional fitness nerds, our training styles and choreography are based on very sound applied physiology concepts, and we pride ourselves with never having a participant hurt as a direct result from our training. 

We teach our classes out of Sydney Australia and are building a library of workouts on YouTube. Check out the timetable tab for our schedule.

Cynthia & Justin Stevenson

Cyn is the program designer/choreographer for Rico Group Fitness. She has trained many thousands of people through her training systems and has over 13 years worth of experience in exercise to music/group fitness, exercise prescription, rehabilitation, martial arts, 25+ years of dance and has a great reputation as a fat loss through exercise specialist.   

Justin is a student of fitness & martial arts for over 20 years with an extensive background in exercise prescription, rehabilitation, exercise to music/group fitness, weightlifting, mma, wrestling, bjj, kickboxing & basketball. Justin has trained 1000's of people from UFC, Olympic & Commonwealth games competitors to weekend warriors, mums, dads, grandparents & kids.
