These charts are the accumulation of over 50 years combined research, trial and error regarding eating for general health with a regular exercise routine. We find that the “Low Carbohydrate” approach is overall most efficient to find a reset point before getting into individual diets and concepts like fasting.

Basically you can eat around a fistful/one serving/30grams of carbohydrates per day and as much of the other food types you need for satiety. The key is to understand what foods have what in them and this is where the charts come into play. I recommend printing the ones you feel help you the most and sticking them to your fridge until you are familiar with the numbers.

The goal of this plan is to get through the 3 months and take ongoing dietary habits from that point, which will act as a reset point for your digestive system. Please note that if you are considering trying this plan it requires a serious effort which is why it works, so be prepared mentally before the attempt.
